I am a married, forty-something, home educating mom of two. I am a professional dieter who has been mastering my craft for over 30 years. (Seriously, pro, Woman’s World once paid me $175 to test a diet plan!) I hope to one day have an “after” photo that sticks, but right now I am 90-something pounds down in my latest quest to lose over 100.
This blog is my attempt to share that process. I’ve learned a lot of things that may help others, and want to share them. I have tried many “eating plans”, oh who are we kidding, DIETS, over the years, and have learned to apply the best strategies from each to live a healthy lifestyle.
Weight is the one area of my life that had always felt out of control. Despite success in so many other things, there was this side of me, the DIETside, that plagued me. My hope is to connect with others who feel the same way and encourage each other through the journey – regardless of what plan you follow.
The best way I know to do that is to bring my faith into it all and ground everything in God’s Word.
